How Berklee Online Alumni Turn Their Degrees into Diverse, Real-World Music Careers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If there\u2019s one thing that the vast network of Berklee Online alumni prove, it\u2019s that success can look many different ways and manifest in many impressive career paths. We checked in with six Berklee Online alumni\u2014Sean Thomas, Gabrielle Davis, Raffa and Camilla DeFaria, Neil Larocque, and Alex Halloran\u2014to see what they were doing after graduating, and how they were applying their degrees. The common denominator in this group is their entrepreneurial mindsets, hunger to keep learning, and their ability to leverage their connections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sean Thomas<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Works with New Edition, New Kids on the Block, and Debbie Gibson. <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

While Sean Thomas was earning his bachelor\u2019s degree in music production<\/a> from Berklee Online, he was simultaneously co-producing Debbie Gibson\u2019s 2021 album The Body Remembers<\/em>. Shortly after graduating, Thomas worked as music director for Gibson\u2019s four-night run in Las Vegas with Joey McIntyre from New Kids on the Block. This opened up the opportunity to work with the New Kids and<\/em> New Edition on their \u201cBattle of Boston\u201d performance for the American Music Awards. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
