You can view your system's specifications, or specs, by taking the following steps:
Mac
- Click on the Apple logo in the top-left corner of your screen.
- Select About This Mac.
- The Overview tab displays general information about your Mac, including the model name, processor type, memory, and storage capacity.
- To view more detailed information, you can select the System Report button, which will give you a comprehensive overview of your Mac's hardware and software specifications.
Windows
- Right-click on the Windows Start button.
- Select System.
- The System page will give you a general overview of your PC's specs, including the processor, system type, and installed memory.
- To view more detailed information, click the Windows Start button, type “System Information,” then click the resulting application. This will give you a comprehensive overview of your PC's hardware and software specifications.
