Berkleemusics students have landed jobs with major music technology
firms, won national awards for the work theyve done in the studio,
and have learned the skills to make career changes into music-related
fields they've always dreamed about.
Bob Klein
Bob Klein of Annapolis, Maryland, recently won an award for his song, "A Long Way Home" in the 6th Annual Songwriting
Contest jointly sponsored by CMT and the Nashville Songwriters Association
International. Bob actively is pursuing what he hopes will be his first
of many "cuts" in Nashville and beyond!
Rick Breen
After completing his Master Certificate in Production in January, Rick
joined Kurzweil where hes been actively designing the next generation
of Kurtzweil synthesizers.
Del Couch
Del recently completed his Master Certificate in Studio Production.
He is currently working on several projects, including a smooth jazz
version of "Hang on Sloopy" with Rick Derringer. He is also
putting the final touches on a George Wallace, Jr. cd, which will be
released next month.
D`Arcy McGilligan
D`Arcy completed two full-length cds for Toronto-based band The Blueser:
"Shut the Front Door" and "Live at Trendz." He has
also started a new, full-time engineering job at Howl Studio in Oakville,
Ontario. His first project is a full-length CD for solo artist John

Mike Breen
Mike recently completed a 2-year Master Certificate in Music Theory,
Harmony, and Ear Training, which helped his admission process for music
school in Japan. He is currently studying jazz full-time at the Kunitachi
Music Academy in Tokyo.
Dan Gross
Dan Gross is approaching his first anniversary in licensing for Razor
& Tie, where he has worked on releases by Dar Williams, the Kidz
Bop Kids, and All That Remains, as well as compilation albums such as
Monster Ballads: Platinum Edition, Buzz Ballads, and Worship Jamz 2.
He is also an advisor for developing artists based in New York City.

James Kevin Burkhardt
JKB recently completed Berkleemusic's Music Industry Entrepreneurship
taught by former Rykodisc President George Howard. He used his final
project as an opportunity to develop his new production and artist services
company, ProtoStar Digital Designs, which he plans to launch in September
