Classical Music Library
A comprehensive database of over 43,000 classical music recordings with accompanying reference materials. Selections range from Gregorian chant to modern composition with multiple versions of works, where available. Included in this database are recordings from labels such as EMI, Sanctuary Classics, Hyperion, and CBC. Users can browse by genre, or search by composer, artist, genre, or period.

American Song
An electronic database of African American musical recordings from the late 1800s to the 1970s. This database includes the entire Document Records catalog (over 50,000 audio tracks). Users can browse by genre, or search by composer, artist, genre, or period.

Smithsonian Global Sound
An electronic database of over 35,000 tracks of musical and aural traditions from around the world. This database includes recordings published by Smithsonian Folkways and many other labels, as well as music from several ethnomusical archives. Users can browse by country, genre, cultural group, language, instrument, artist, ensemble, label, or musical category.

Naxos Music Library
An electronic database of over 85,000 tracks of musical recordings (over 5,000 CDs) including classical, jazz, folk, and world music. Users can browse by genre, or search by composer, artist, genre, or period. Access is limited to 10 simultaneous users. NOTE: Windows Media Player is required to listen to the audio files, it is available for download in the Microsoft Download Center

Naxos Jazz Library
An electronic database of close to 20,000 tracks of jazz from over 1,900 albums. Over 500 jazz artists are represented. Naxos Jazz Library comprises Naxos Jazz and the 22 labels of Fantasy Jazz. Users may browse by featured artist(s) or search for name(s), disc / song title, and catalogue number. Playlists can also be created. New jazz releases are continually added.
