Berklee Online requires all students enrolled in a degree program to participate in two-factor authentication through Duo, Berklee's two-factor authentication provider in order to access any content where OnePass is required. Two-factor authentication is required to add an extra layer of security to protect both students' and Berklee's data.

To set up Duo with your OnePass account, please follow the instructions below.

Enroll in Duo

1. From your computer, go to berklee.edu.
2. Click Log In at the top right of the page.
3. Log in using your Berklee OnePass credentials.
4. You will receive a prompt saying “2-factor authentication is required to secure your account.” Click Begin Setup.

5. You will be redirected to a page that says “Welcome to Duo Security.” Click Next.

6. Click Next again on the following two informational pages.
7. You will be prompted to select an option for authentication. Select Duo Mobile.

8. Enter your phone number on the following page, then click Add phone number.

9. On the following page, verify that the number you entered is correct, then click Yes, it's correct if so.

10. You will now be prompted to download the Duo Mobile application on your phone. Do so with the steps below.

Download the Duo Mobile App

1. Open the App Store (iOS device) or Google Play (Android device).
2. Search for and install the Duo Mobile application on your device.
3. Once installed, launch the application on your mobile device, then press Continue.
4. If prompted, Allow Duo Mobile to send you notifications by pressing Allow.
5. On the Add account screen, press Use QR code at the top of the list of options.

6. Press OK to allow Duo Mobile access to your camera on the device.

Complete the Enrollment Process

1. From your computer, click Next.

2. An activation barcode will appear on your screen. Using your mobile device, position your camera so the image on your computer’s screen is in view. When activated, a green checkmark will appear on your computer, and you will be redirected to a page which says “Added Duo Mobile.”
3. Click Continue.

4. The Duo Mobile app on your mobile device will ask you for an account name; the default name “Berklee” is fine.
5. Click Save.

6. You are now ready to proceed with logging in. On your computer, when asked to “Add another way to log in,” click Skip for now unless you have a security key you would like to add.

7. On the following page, click Log in with Duo.

8. Check the Remember me for 7 days box, then select Send Me a Push.
9. On your phone, select Approve to complete the authentication process.

Your enrollment process for Multi-Factor Authentication is now complete.
