Deleting Posts in Your Course

Updated on January 11th, 2024

Students frequently ask to have posts deleted from their course. Due to academic integrity policies, it is not possible for students to delete or edit posts in a course. If something needs to be fixed in a post, the best course of action is to offer additions or corrections by replying to the original post. For example, if you upload the incorrect file for an assignment submission, you can simply reply to your initial post with the correct file, and mention that the initial post can be disregarded. Instructors are used to seeing this, and are very understanding of these sorts of errors.

The only circumstances in which a post can be deleted are when sensitive personal information or documents are uploaded, or offensive content is included in a post. If you find a post that contains either of these, please reach out to the Berklee Online Support Team at support@online.berklee.edu with a link to the post in question to request a deletion.
