How to Disable Ad-blocking for BOCCE

Certain features in BOCCE,  such as interactions and the video player, will not function properly with ad-blocking enabled. For this reason, we ask that you turn off ad-blocking in the course environment. You can find steps for a few of the most popular ad blockers below.

Adblock Plus

  1. At the top right of Chrome, click the Extensions button. This is an icon that looks like a puzzle piece, and is located to the right of the address bar.
  2. Click Adblock Plus in the resulting list.
  3. Click the gear icon at the top right of the resulting window.
  4. Select Allow listed websites from the list on the left side of the page.
  5. Enter “berklee.edu” in the shown URL field.
  6. Click the blue Add Website button.
 
 

uBlock Origin

  1. At the top right of Chrome, click the Extensions button. This is an icon that looks like a puzzle piece, and is located to the right of the address bar.
  2. Click uBlock Origin in the resulting list.
  3. Click the gears icon at the bottom right of the resulting window.
  4. Select Trusted sites from the list at the top of the page.
  5. Enter “berklee.edu” on a new line in the shown list.
  6. Click the blue Apply Changes button.
 
 

AdBlock

  1. At the top right of Chrome, click the Extensions button. This is an icon that looks like a puzzle piece, and is located to the right of the address bar.
  2. Click AdBlock in the resulting list.
  3. Click the gear icon at the top right of the resulting window.
  4. Select Customize from the list on the left side of the page.
  5. Click Show ads on a webpage or domain under the Stop blocking ads section.
  6. Enter “berklee.edu” in the shown URL field.
  7. Click the red OK! button.
