Different Types of Credentials for Berklee Online Students

Updated on January 12th, 2024

If you are having trouble logging into a Berklee Online portal, the issue may be that you are not using the appropriate credentials for that specific portal or that you may be accessing a different portal than the one you intended. Below is an explanation of the various credentials you may have, and where you'll use them.

Note: OnePass credentials are only to be used by degree students, while Application Portal credentials are only to be used by degree program applicants.

Berklee Online Credentials

  • All students enrolled in a Berklee Online course, certificate, or degree program have Berklee Online credentials.
  • Non-degree students create these during the checkout flow when first enrolling in a course or certificate program. Alternatively, these may be created by an Advisor over the phone.
  • Degree students who do not already have a Berklee Online account from taking courses previously will receive these credentials via email shortly after indicating their intent to enroll.
  • Credentials are used to access the My Home page, your courses in BOCCE, or anything else on the online.berklee.edu domain.
  • You can reset this password through the Forgot Password link for Berklee Online.

OnePass Credentials

  • OnePass credentials are issued only to students enrolled in a degree program.
  • These credentials will be issued to students starting in the upcoming semester within 10 business days of being accepted into the degree program and indicating their intent to enroll. Students starting in a later semester will only receive their OnePass within approximately 10 weeks of that semester's start date.
  • Once your OnePass credentials are created, you'll receive an email letting you know that your OnePass is available in the Next Steps section of the application portal. The password provided there will be a temporary password that you'll be prompted to change before you can use it to log in.
  • OnePass credentials are used to access:
    • The my.berklee.edu portal, where degree students can plan and register for courses, pay tuition, view past semester grades, and access important documentation, such as tuition receipts or 1098-T forms.
    • Your Berklee email account via mail.google.com, as well as other Google Workspace apps, such as Google Drive and Docs.
    • Anything you might need to log into on the berklee.edu domain, such as the Career Manager or the Student ID request form.
  • Provided you know your current OnePass password, you can change your OnePass password here.
  • To reset your OnePass password yourself, in case you forget it, you'll first need to enroll in the reset program here. Once enrolled, you can reset your OnePass password here.
  • If you haven't enrolled in the reset program and you forget your OnePass password, contact support@online.berklee.edu from the email address associated with your Berklee Online or Application Portal account for a password reset.
  • When logging in with OnePass, as an added layer of security, you will be required to authenticate with Duo. For instructions on how to set up two-factor authentication with Duo, see this article.

Application Portal Credentials

  • Application Portal credentials are created by applicants when starting their first application for an online degree program. If applying to another degree program, such as a graduate degree after completing their undergraduate studies, students may use the same credentials.
  • These credentials are used to access the Application Portal only.
  • The password can be reset using the Forgot Password link for the Application Portal.
