Kim Perlak

Kim Perlak is chair of the Guitar department at Berklee College of Music and a classical guitarist whose work bridges styles, history, and community engagement. Her artistic projects have included collaborations with American composers, veterans, and improvisers such as David Tronzo. She is the author of Classical Technique for the Modern Guitarist, published by Berklee Press. With Berklee Online, she teaches several levels of private guitar lessons for the Guitar Performance degree, as well as the Guitar Fundamentals course, which she authored.
