Rodney Alejandro

Rodney Alejandro is the chair of the Songwriting department at Berklee College of Music. A Grammy- and Latin Grammy–nominated producer, composer, and performer, he has collaborated with artists including Quincy Jones, Sting, Ray Charles, and Stevie Wonder. His credits span chart-topping songs in multiple markets, a tenure as music director for the Script, and composing for acclaimed TV series like The Shield. For Berklee Online, he teaches several levels of private songwriting lessons for the Songwriting graduate degree. He also teaches Music Demo Production for Songwriters, both Culminating Experience in Songwriting courses, and Topline and Vocal Production, which he authored.
