Berklee Accounts for Half of the Six Finalists in this Year’s Audio Education Technology Category.
Three entries from Berklee’s Pre-College, Online, and Professional Programs division have been named finalists for the 2027 NAMM TEC Awards in the Audio Education Technology category. Presented annually by NAMM (the National Association of Music Merchants), the TEC Awards recognize the individuals, companies, and technical innovations behind the sound of recordings, live performances, films, television, video games, and multimedia.
The finalists are:
- Carlos Arana’s course AI in Music: Composition, Production, and Analysis for Berklee Online
- Dan Pfeiffer’s course Immersive Audio Post Production and Mixing Techniques for Berklee Online
- Jonathan Wyner’s book Audio Mastering, 2nd Edition: Essential Practices for Berklee Press
Together, the three Berklee entries represent half of the six finalists in this year’s Audio Education Technology category. Winners of the 42nd Annual NAMM TEC Awards will be announced on January 28, 2027, during the 2027 NAMM Show in Anaheim, California.
