How to Apply

Students who have enrolled in a designated associate’s program at our partner schools and are applying to the specified Berklee Online major are eligible for an expedited admissions process. This allows students to bypass certain parts of our application process, such as submitting letters of recommendation and paying the application fee.

    Step 1: Fill out the Articulation Agreement Identification Form—once you submit this, you will receive an email confirmation with a reiteration of the next steps.

    Please note: if you are a Sound Recording and Music Technology (A.A.S.) student applying for the Music Composition for Film, TV & Games program, you will be asked to submit your demonstration of musicianship at this time.

    Step 2: Fill out an abbreviated Berklee Online Application, which will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete. The abbreviated application means you’ll only have to fill out the following sections:

    • Program Information
    • Personal Information
    • Address
    • Biographical Information
    • High School
    • Higher Education: College or University

    Step 3: Submit copies of your transcripts.

    For students with less than 24 college credits completed: request for an official copy of your high school transcript and your college transcript(s) to be sent directly to Berklee Online.

    For students with 24+ college credits completed: provide proof of high school completion and request for an official copy of your college transcript(s) to be sent to Berklee Online.

    Electronic transcripts are preferred whenever possible. These can be directed to materials@online.berklee.edu.

    If you institution is unable to send your transcript(s) electronically, official transcripts can be mailed to the following address:

    Step 4: Congratulations! You’re done. Once we receive your necessary transcripts, you will get your admissions decisions within 2 weeks!
