New! Masterclasses
Manage Your Stress with Music
We all know that music makes us feel better, and with this new masterclass, you’ll learn how to harness evidence-based music therapy techniques and exercises that will help you cope with life’s stressors. Manage Your Stress with Music introduces you to strategies that will help you soothe, motivate, and modulate your feelings, such as creating a mood manager playlist and composing a personal jingle. We’ll discuss strategies not only for you, but also for loved ones and people you care about.
First, we will talk about stress and how we can manage it in a healthy way. We will share our go-to songs or pieces that facilitate a sense of calm and relaxation, and add them to a personalized playlist that you can refer back to over and over again. We will select affirmations that motivate you and put them to music or chant. Finally, you will choose your own technique to use the next time you are feeling stressed.
