Francois Noel

Francois Noel joined the BostonConservatory at Berklee in 2019. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Noel moved to Boston at the age of eight. In middle school, he discovered a passion for music and hip-hop dancing—popping, locking, housing, and breaking. He was later introduced to salsa through the Metamovements Dance Company, and his Latin dance repertoire has grown to include salsa, bachata, merengue, casino, rueda, son, rumba and Afro-Cuban. He has studied in dance bootcamps, at dance congresses and festivals, as well as in Cuba and the Dominican Republic. He received training in Brazilian zouk, kizomba, and sensual bachata by international artists such as Daniel y Desiree, Sara Panero, and Marco Espejo from Spain. In 2019, Noel joined the faculty of Moves & Vibes, the only dance school in New England that specializes in sensual bachata and Brazilian dance. He currently teaches both salsa and hip hop at the conservatory as well as traveling the world teaching and performing at different dance congresses and festivals.
